Brian Kilmeade is a gifted writer. He comes off as the funny guy on FOX and Friends but in reality he is very intelligent and knowledgeable about our history. His latest book is about The War of 1812 and Major General Andrew Jackson, of Tennessee. I can’t wait for the book to come out.

Candidates for President

I am one who never discusses politics with friends or on Facebook, but I do believe that everyone should vote. I also believe if you are going to vote you need to know who and what you are voting for or against. That is why I am putting  links to the books that the candidates for President have written within the last few years. There were a few that I could not find a book for. If there is a candidate that has written a book that is not listed on this page, please leave a comment with the title.

The books are not in any order. I am not favoring any candidate and you will never know who I am for or against. So, please don’t go there in your comments.

The Quiet Man: The Indispensable Presidency of George H.W. Bush

This is a book written by President Bush’s Chief of Staff, John H. Sununu. President Bush was taught by his mother to never brag or show off. The result is most people do not know of many of his accomplishes while serving as President. His foreign policy achievements alone put him in the front ranks of U.S. Presidents. He also has an impressive record on domestic issues. The Quiet Man brings you into the White House and puts a spotlight on the accomplishes as well as the difficulties of George H. W. Bush’s presidency.
